Rust Sentinel watches your base and alerts your team in Discord and in‑game. Setup is one‑time and takes a few minutes — follow these in order.
Start on the website and log in with Discord — this just tells us which account is yours. You won't see any bases or your live feed yet; that unlocks once you subscribe in the next step.
Log in with DiscordAfter logging in, subscribe to activate your account. Rust Sentinel is $1.99/month, cancel anytime. Secure checkout via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay & Google Pay.
Subscribe — $1.99/moOnce you're subscribed, add Rust Sentinel to the Discord server you play with. You'll need Manage Server permission to add it — it builds its own alert channels automatically.
🔒 Subscribe first to unlockThe Add to Discord button appears here once your subscription is active.
This is a one‑time link so the bot can receive your server's pairing alerts. In Discord, run /link — it replies with a private link. Open it, then:
The one-time helper lets your Steam login talk to the bot. It never sees your password, and you can remove it right after linking. It takes about a minute to add:
chrome://extensions (Edge: edge://extensions)./link page and continue with Login with Steam. On Firefox: open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox → Load Temporary Add-on → pick the helper's manifest.json. (Temporary until the store version is live.)
A one-click browser-store version is on the way — this manual step goes away then.
With the helper added, click Login with Steam on the link page. Your username and password are entered on Steam's own website — the helper and the bot never see them. When it says "Steam account linked!", you're done with this step.
Back in Discord, run /pair. Then jump in‑game on the server you play and press Esc → Rust+ → your current server → Pair within a few minutes. Pair the server, not a smart device. The bot confirms in Discord the moment it lands.
That's it — you'll start getting live alerts. 🎉
/pair-device · split alerts into channels with /channels · trigger real‑world lights/plugs with /webhook · let teammates take leader with /register-leader. See every command on the Commands page, and your live feed in the Control Centre.
